Coach Shetler graduated from Wilson in 1992 and went on to be involved with the football program and Linfield, the baseball program at Linn-Benton Community College and the Sports Information Department at Oregon State University.  After moving back to Portland in 1998, he started his coaching career for Wilson, and spent the next 17 years as an assistant until being named the head coach in 2015. Coach Shetler was formerly the Dean of Students at Wilson High School, and currently teaching US History and College & Career Exploration. This is Coach Shetlers 10th Season as the Head Varsity Coach. His wife Darcy graduated from Wilson and his daughter Olivia is a 9th grader at Wells High School.
